BUSINESS
Tony founded TC Design in late 2002 in a small shop in Novato, CA. With a MIG welder, a TIG welder, and a tubing bender, Tony started building winning race cars. Word of mouth about Tony’s skills spread quickly and 2003 brought a move to Milpitas for a larger shop space and closer proximity to TCD customers.
In 2013, after relocating to Campbell and over a decade of building the fastest, safest, most reliable race cars in Northern California, Tony and Joe set their sights on the national stage. It was time to show the entire USA what a winning TCD car looked like.
RACING
Tony has been competing and winning for as long as he’s been driving. From his first autocross, just a week after gaining his driver’s license on his 16th birthday, to his most recent 2016 NASA Western States Championship win, building and piloting championship race cars has been Tony’s driving passion.
1997 was also the start of Tony’s racing career. A graduate of the Russell Racing School at Sears Point, Tony competed in the Russell Racing Graduate Runoffs, placing 3RD and winning four free race weekends in 2000.
